To get our 2010-2011 Parent meetings off to a super start, we bring you renowned lapbooker Tammy Duby!!! She will entertain us and share with us her techniques for creating lapbooks using your own curriculum choices. Lapbooks showcase your student’s learning in creative ways they’ll be proud to share with others!
Tammy Duby is a homeschool mom of 19 years, a mother of two, and a borrower of other people’s children. She holds degrees in Elementary and Early Childhood Education. Her teaching takes a hands-on approach, while emphasizing literature. Her workshops offer a blessing, a good laugh, and practical ideas parents can implement right away. She is the co-author of the Ultimate LapBook™ Handbook. She and her husband Mike own Tobin’s Lab: Hands-On Science. They live in Culpeper, Virginia with Megan. Tobin was recently graduated from Patrick Henry College and works for a homeschool publishing company.
