Subscription to TOOL includes access to the subscriber portion of our website, which contains all of the detailed information on field trips, activities and events. A family subscription to TOOL is $15.00 for the 2009-2010 year. (August thru June) Most TOOL activities are open only to TOOL subscribers.
Beginning this fall, the information that would have come in your newsletter will be on the password protected portion of the website. If you have already subscribed to TOOL, please go to the Website Member Sign-up page and request website membership. You must renew your membership every year to continue with TOOL.
The TOOL lending library and the Yahoo e-mail group are two great benefits to TOOL subscribers! The lending library is chock full of good stuff for you to borrow. Books, curriculum, materials for unit studies, great books by homeschool authors, "What Your 2nd Grader Needs to Know" type of books... all kinds of helpful things are in the lending library. We even have recordings from the latest NoVA conference!
The Yahoo e-mail group is helpful to find recommendations, get help solving a problem, find out about local classes, and get answers to questions about curriculum from other moms who use it. Use it all you can! We have some great moms who can be of help to you!
In order to foster friendship and support in TOOL, a TOOL subscriber directory is available. Please ask the subscriber coordinator for one if you are interested.
To subscribe to TOOL, click here to print the Subcription Application. This includes the Subscription Application, Code of Conduct and Liability Waiver. All 3 pages of the application must be included along with a check for $15.00 for the application to be complete. Applications will be accepted by mail or at any parent meeting. Registration for all classes and field trips won't be available before the Back to School meeting and is on a first come first sign-up basis that night. Subscribers will receive website access which gives all the details regarding field trip.
